By accessing or using BuddyBoard (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your location to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Use of the Service
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
- Attempt to access or interfere with systems or data you are not authorized to access.
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Post content that infringes intellectual property or violates privacy rights.
4. Not for emergencies; no medical advice
BuddyBoard is not an emergency service and is not intended for urgent or life-safety communications. Do not rely on BuddyBoard for emergency response.
BuddyBoard does not provide medical, clinical, or legal advice. Any schedules, notes, or messages are for coordination only.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as posts and messages). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. See /privacy.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party services (for example, cloud hosting and authentication). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms.
8. Service changes, suspension, and termination
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or suspend/terminate accounts, if needed for security, legal compliance, or misuse prevention.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, BuddyBoard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BuddyBoard from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
